A dozen red lamps lit up the midnight blue skies,
Even as a hundred hands held His wrists.
“Don’t go. Stay,” they said.
Claimed His possession and times and even His head.
Even in the light of those dozen blazing lights,
Even tearing apart the pressures of a hundred hands,
His head and heart and soul tears tears apart.
The return of pain really comes at the very start.
