"YAMA, COME."

“I know you love me so much.

Why don’t you come for me?

Now, when it’s a cosy autumn evening,

When no one cares where anyone else be.

“When you’ve loved me from when I was very young.

When you’ve been courting me for this long.

When an answer to “Age? Name? Identity?” is “To Nothing I belong”.

When a peaceful memory is just a song.

“Why don’t you come to take me?

Take my hand and set me free!

Unshackle my roots, on my pride lay a wreath.

Embrace me, embrace me, O Dark Death.

“Why did the serene evening of everyday

Blaze at me today with a fiery orange sun?

Why our job on earth, O Yama,

Is all but done?”
